i have so much work to do.  and it's going so slow ... ok, maybe i am.  ugh.

so yeah .... i'll be more posty by week end .... end of the month/beginning of the month is chaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mine isn't so much a word, but an acronym.  i say ntp ALOT.  it means "not the point" and i guess i made it an acronym  for whatever reason ... only people who talk to me alot get to hear me use it alot ;)

applenerd is the new username.  a little play off of my username on other sites/boards/email: applescruff.  so there it is :) 

i miss my lj!  but i am not fond of my username ... so i am actually going to be renaming it.  you all don't have to do a thing :)  hopefully i'll get the name i want and i'll just show up differently on your flist.  and with that i think i'll redo the look of the lj and have it all new and spunky looking for 2009 ;)

i actually did it on this program for mac called 'seashore'.  pretty appropriate, yeah?  ;)

yeah!  memorial day weekend!

on friday we went out for dinner to this thai place downtown, it was pretty yummy.  but still not as good as the place in clark.  that place is amazing.  i will have to take john there, now that he knows he likes yummy thai foodz.  after dinner we had frozen dessert and then hit up this used book store.  i got three books for a little over $3.  i got looking for mr. goodbar, through the looking glass, and appointment with death.  i am halfway through the first book, it has a good plot, some mystery and a murder.  i tend to read books that have a bit of mystery in them.  makes me want to read more.  and i am so behind on reading.  i need to do it more, b/c i think it's like any cognitive task ... you have to build up tolerance so as not to fall asleep right away!

saturday was fun too.  we ended up going to point pleasant to walk on the beach and hang on the boardwalk.  we got some sun and fudge, and tried not to get run over by new yorkers on scooters.  then we had such good seafood at a local place called 'the seafood co-op'.  it is a fishery, but they have some limited outside dining.  so we had dinner by the water.

yesterday we just hung around and went to my parents for some bbq.  it was nice, we ate, talked and played monopoly.  man, i suck at that game.

today is beautiful and we are about to go for a walk.  i need exercise!

aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!  i am so excited.  i am definitely going to the ny/nj shows.  and prolly dc.  oh man, it's cmas in march!

 right.  the new username is from a sloan song off of "one chord to another".  i had to have the 4 b/c someone already had juniorpanthers.  apparently it's popular ;)  and the user pic is kate winslet from "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind."  a really good movie, and i like kate winslet alot, esp in that movie.  so there she is in my icon looking at words.  just like a journal ;)

i am hungry.
